Imagine going into your usual Google search for Pokémon news. Suddenly, you see a small Poké Ball jumping and spinning to the bottom right corner of your device, a pleasant surprise awaiting you.
Many of us discovered quite early today this playful collaboration between Google and Pokémon, celebrating the latter's undeniable legacy and influence. But in case you haven't found your virtual Pokémons, we tell you all there is to know:
What is this about?
Google users can now catch the 151 Generation I Pokémon with just a few clicks. In the Google's fashion of Easter egg droppings, the interactive search allows you to collect your favorite Pokémon.
How can I do it?
It's super easy! Just Google search “151 wild Pokémon hiding on Google” or to make it more personalized, search the name of those you want to catch! (You might have trouble finding Pikachu, since the server might collapse with so many of us searching for our electric friend).
After you press “enter,” a tiny Poké Ball will travel around your screen. Just click it and welcome your new friend to your virtual Pokédex.
Are Legendary and Mythical Pokémon included?
YES! But oh, aren't they elusive? Players must advance in their hunt and collect Master Balls before they can attempt to catch these ones. The only way to get them is answering trivia questions that test your Pokémon knowledge. Trust your instincts and read the hints carefully.

Tips:
Make sure you are logged into your Google account to save all your new Pokémon.
You might want to start small since more powerful Pokémon might refuse to be trapped.
Google “Pokémon” if you want a run-through of the game (but, honestly, after reading this guide you're good to go. You got this!)
Look at the silhouettes of the Pokémon you are missing on your Pokédex. Don't lose track of them!
And that's all! It's time to head to Google and meet your new friends.
What are you doing here? Go! Remember, we gotta catch them all!
