Pokémon TCG Pocket: The Celestial Guardians Arrive

The wait is over. The newest expansion for Pokémon TCG Pocket will be released tomorrow at 2:00 am EST. Celestial Guardians, with its two booster packs featuring legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala, promises to be a spectacular addition to our beloved phone game.  

The expansion will add 200 new cards to the game, focusing on the Alola region and the Sun and Moon Pokémon from Generation 7. Pokemon.com posted with excitement, “First-partner Pokémon Rowlet, Litten, and Popplio make their Pokémon debuts, alongside the mighty Legendary Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala, and beloved Trainers from Alola.” 

Some of the most expected cards include Solgaleo ex, Lunala ex, and Alolan Raichu ex, illustrated by PLANETA CG Works. However, at Tonny Collectables, we are most excited about Lillie’s Immersive Supporter Card, illustrated by Atsushi Furusawa; special art Alolan Raichu ex, illustrated by Yoshimi Miyoshi; and Alolan Marowak, illustrated by Gemi. 

Along with the new booster packs, a Rayquaza ex Drop Event will take place. By participating in solo battles and special missions, you can earn Promo Packs A that might include the majestic Rayquaza until May 13. However, if you would like the fully illustrated version, you have until May 28 to complete the required missions. 

In  ddition to all the new cards, the game will have a special cover binder featuring Rowlet, a Sky Shaymin coin, and a playmat with our dearest starters. 

These generous drops are no coincidence since the game is celebrating its half-year anniversary! Six months ago, the worldwide sensation Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket started, and they want us to celebrate the best way we know how: by playing!
